Listen to Our Young People (2/21/14)

So to help solve problems that our younger generations are having, it is extremely important and crucial that we hear what they have to say. Like I’m not sure how there are conversations about how to improve institutions for young people without even knowing how it effects them. I know that the common narrative is “young people don’t know how to think for themselves” but has anyone ever considered that it is because there are not many opportunities where we ALLOW them to think for themselves (?) Young people are much smarter than they are given credit for – mistakes and triumphs alike. Young people are looking to be heard, so listen up!
